Site is so slow!

Hi All, I don't come in as much as I'd like simply because the site takes so long to load. I just haven't the patience to sit here for a full minute between every single action I take in this board.

Greg, isn't there something that can be done about this?

I agree that the site is too slow. I had an explanation of the problem but the computer I'm on just deleted it. Unfortunately, I think it will take awhile to solve the problem. I'll get back to it as soon as I can.

Hi Greg, thank you for replying! I hope it can be figured out. I think people would enjoy spending more time here if it wasn't so time consuming, and as a consequence, more annoyance than enjoyment.

I know I used to come here every day, and usually find something to comment on. I like all the people I've met here, it's a nice cozy feeling kind of place for me, even though most of you knew each other already in the forum that closed. That's how friendly everyone is, right from the start I felt safe and welcome, I've never felt like an outsider.

I have to admit i thought the problem was at my end as have had 1 or 2 issues with my broadband.

I did notice however when I have clicked the link on my faves bar tonight it was real quick and so has been clicking between pages.

I apologize for not getting back to this until now. I moved at the end of January and have not had internet service since then. I am hoping to get new internet service soon, but in the meantime, I have only been able to get online using my parents' computers. They have been gracious about letting me use their computers, but I still have only had time to get on during the weekends. When I get my own internet service, I'll be able to do the proper research to solve the problem.
